Annoying calls several times a day.

Calls almost daily. Do not answer, they hang up

calls a couple of times a week - no one there when I answer - does not leave any voice mail messages

Given the general unpredictability of answers, callers resort to using multiple lines per agent employing dialing strategies known as predictive dialing and power dialing. Predictive dialing utilizes a pacing algorithm that factors agent availability, average call times, and answer rates in an attempt to maximize agent talk time with the lowest possible abandonment rate. Despite clever pacing, agents are inevitably unavailable for all answers and abandonment occurs. Power dialing maximizes agent talk time by continuously dialing all available lines. This results in astronomical abandonment rates.

Claiming to be US Census Bureau, kept us on the phone for over an hour. Collected a TON of VERY personal information, mostly about my mother. Mind you, my mother and myself, along with 3 small children live here, this is my grandmother's house.

The guy wanted to sell me long distance service. Sounded like an Indian and claimed he was calling from Vancouver, Canada. Obviously he was following a script and switched to verbal prompts from someone. Wonder why there is such an influx of Telemarketers selling long distance from India. I receive a call from these jokers at lease once every 3 to 4 days. Is it that Bell Canada wants to screw us over by selling our numbers to shady operators and then also making money by trying to offer a service to block these same telemarketers for a FEE.

they call 3 times a day when I asked them to take me off the call list they told me to tell someone about them and hung up.

after being told that they had the wrong number or the person didn't live here. They still call 10 or more times day. i have a sick older person here. please stop because it is really becoming a problem. This person is really causing problem for alot of people. They should be put offline.

It's a collections agency and she said she is calling on behalf of Sprint/Nextel. If I had a nickel for everytime I had a dropped call or no service with Sprint/Nextel I'd own the company!!!
